Out of the three new Straight Talk phones for sale, the Nokia 6790 and Nokia E71 are the top two.  The Samsung R335C is a basic phone that was recently added, but the other two are in a different league altogether.

The Nokia 6790 was formerly known as the Surge when it was on AT&T, but now it is a prepaid phone and you can get it with the Straight Talk Unlimited plan, which costs $45 per month.  Straight Talk is a joint effort between TracFone and Verizon, which provides the prepaid network the company runs on.  See a picture of this phone and its specs below.  This phone is available for $199 on StraightTalk.com

Are both of these phones available? I went over to the straight talk website, straighttalk.com I think, and I didn’t see the Nokia e71. It looked like there was only the nokia 6790 and samsung r355c and a few other ones. I’m more interested in the nokia e71 or at least I was at first. Now I think the 6790 might be for me. I really like the unlimited plan.
