Straight Talk's New Android Phone is Out Now - Click Here!

Straight Talk is a prepaid company with two different prepaid plans.  One is the unlimited plan and the other one is for 1,000 minutes a month and 1,000 text messages a month.  So you have a couple of good options to choose from.  There are three free phones available on StraightTalk.com right now (and they will be free for at least the rest of the month or so or until supplies last).  The phones are the Samsung t401G, LG 220C, and LG 290.  The best one of these phones is probably the Samsung t401G.  These three phones are available with this deal only from the official website.  Read about the Nokia E71 Straight Talk phone, one of the newest additions to the lineup.

    Veronica,

It looks like the Samsung Finesse for Straight Talk has been discontinued. I will try to get in contact with the company to see if it has been officially taken out of the Straight Talk lineup. Check back in a few days.

  4. [...] Straight Talk is a prepaid cell phone provider, which means that you never have to sign a contract in order to use the service.  There are quite a few nice phones to choose from and since you pay every month as you use the service, you don’t have to subject yourself to any kind of commitment like you would with a contract phone plan.  Prepaid is really becoming popular as the months go by, since signing a contract for a phone can be quite expensive and essentially locks you to a certain company.  Straight Talk has two good prepaid plans for you to choose from.  One is a 1,000 minute per month plan and the other is the unlimited plan. Are prepaid phones a good way to go? I’ve never had one before. I think I would be happier with no cell phone contract.

  6. [...] Straight Talk offers two good prepaid plans. The first costs $30 and will give you 1,000 minutes of talk time and 1,000 text messages in addition to 30 megabytes of data transfer for web browsing. For $30, it’s a pretty good deal and you can even get a free phone with this plan (at least for as long as the current free Straight Talk phone offer is going on for). The phones that are being offered for free change sort of frequently, but at the moment you can get two models of phone for free. Have a look at all the plans and the current phones online at StraightTalk.com. The deal only works with online purchases, but don’t worry because you get free shipping. [...]

Is the deal for the free phone still going on? I need a new straight talk phone but don’t know which one to buy.

  9. Chris says:

Hal – This could change tomorrow or in a couple of weeks, but right now there is one Straight Talk phone available for free. That is the LG 220C model. See it here.

Yay! I’ve been looking for a free prepaid phone for a while but couldn’t find a good one. I’m not sure this one is for me but thanks for pointing it out.

  11. Tyson says:

are there any hidden fees with this prepaid phone? Or is it totally prepaid and you get exactly what they’re offering?

  12. Byron says:

Are there still free straight talk phones available? I’m not sure. Should I get one over a TMobile prepaid phone?
